Globally distributed IPv4 and IPv6 NTP service

The following NTP server sets are available to SixXS users over both IPv4 and IPv6. We especially recommend using a NTP server when using either the AYIYA or heartbeat protocols.

NTP Server Pools

ntp.us.sixxs.net	United States based Server Set
ntp.ap.sixxs.net	Asia Pacific based Server Set

These NTP server sets comprise out of mostly NTP Stratum 2 servers. Please only use the above given dns names for this service. This allows us to update the set in case servers are added or removed. Soon this service will be anycasted, so that usage over IPv6 will terminate SixXS users to their local PoP, thus minimizing latency and thus providing a higher accuracy clock source.
