Hi, Yesterday I needed to replace my Juniper SRX (broken) by an Apple Airport Express. I have configured the airport according the WIKI, is does not come up. SIXXS live conifg says: Tunnel Configuration Tunnel IDT38481 TID0x74c Tunnel Debuggingno Inner Us2001:610:600:74c::1 Inner Them2001:610:600:74c::2 Outer Us192.87.102.107 Outer Them83.83.208.128 MTU1280 Tunnel Stateup Tunnel Typeproto41 Apple Airport software 7.6.3: IPv6 Mode: Tunnel Block Incomming Configure IPv6: Manually Remote IPv4: 192.87.102.107 WAN IPv6: 2001:610:600:74c::2 IPv6 Default Route: 2001:610:600:74c::1 LAN IPv6 Address: 2001:610:7bf:1:: IPv6 FW: Allow Teredo tunnels: YES AlloW incomming IPSec authentication: YES Exceptions: Addres: 2001:610:600:74c::2 Allow all services and ports What's wrong? LAN IPv6 Address: 2001:610:7bf:1::
That is definitely wrong, IPv6 addresses ending in "::" are typically the 'lowest' address in a prefix, and in your case this is supposed to be in a /64, and thus it will be. The lowest address in a prefix is called the subnet anycast address and that is one that is every routing node in a prefix. Configure this to something like 2001:610:7bf:1::1 to make it work, note that you could also use the lowest /64 and thus use 2001:610:7bf::1. SOLVED: Airport version 7.6.3 Bug --> downgrade to 7.6.2 fixed the problem. can Choose the LAN IP yourself or automatic. add prefix or complete address.
