Heartbeat Client crashes on NetBSD
[de] Carmen Sandiego on Wednesday, 15 September 2004 22:55:50
Last weekend I set up an old Intel 486DX machine (66MHz, 20MB of RAM) as an IPv6 router for my small home network with NetBSD 1.6.2 base. I'm using a 3COM 3C515-TX Fast Ethernet adapter for networking and everything works fine. But on monday evening and today evening, I experienced the heartbeat client has been terminated unexpectedly. And I found a heartbeat-client.core on /. I'm using the current version of the heartbeat client (downloaded last Sunday). Are there any known bugs? What could be the problem? What kind of additional information do you need, to fix this bug? Thanks in advance! Regards, Felix Kaiser

There is a known bug in the resolving part of the heartbeat client, which has been deprecated in favor of AICCU. PS: there is a search button on the forum and on the site, you could have found it there.
