re use endpoint ipv4 ip of deleted tunnel
[nl] Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 14 December 2012 09:27:59
Hi, I created a new tunnel but wanted to re use te subnet on my first tunnel. So I decided to cancel the new tunnel (delete it) and change the end point for my first tunnel. But i cannot change the endpoint since it has been registered still with the old POP... I'd like tunnel T75514 to point to the static ip 82.192.74.91 that is blocked by tunnel T111654. If I change the endpoint static ip I get a "There is already a tunnel to 82.192.74.91 on this PoP" warning. I've waited for mor than 30 minutes to overcome the 15 minute delay thing. Please be advised about your solutions. Jeroen

There is no delay for this; static endpoints are that, static, and thus typically nothing else will be at that IP address and thus situations like this will never happen, and would not have, if you would not have pointed a second tunnel yourself to that location. I've swapped the endpoints around, thus that should resolve your problem.
