Tunnel endpoint monitoring not correct yesterday?
[us] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 08 October 2008 14:53:32
I have read and followed the "Reporting Problems" section on the Contact page and am providing the following details for this report based on the list of items stated there: I almost reported this issue yesterday, but I will today as credits were removed from my account, even though it appears to be working correctly at the moment. No graphs were being updated yesterday for my tunnel T17164 to show ping times or loss of traffic (they do not show 100% loss of traffic, they are blank for over a day). Additionally my IPv4 endpoint was showing as unknown. Yesterday I was able to ping my tunnel endpoint, and ping other IPv6 sites. I did a tcpdump on my linux box for about 4 hours and did not see any attempted pings coming from the other side of the tunnel, except when I did pings to my endpoint from a remote site. There is no firewall running on this machine, and it started reporting again overnight with no configuration changes on my end. I just figured they were having some trouble, since they were down for a while in the last week, and one of the other OOCAID PoPs has been down for 2 weeks. Was this a problem on my end?
