Give Back a subnet
[de] Carmen Sandiego on Tuesday, 09 October 2012 12:18:41
I asked to get a new subnet with /48 mask and I got it. Now I would like to give back to you the /64 subnet I got before as there is no longer a need for me to keep it. Subnet in Question is: Subnet information R200738 2001:4dd0:ff00:8f3b::/64 It is routed on tunnel 2001:4dd0:ff00:f3b::2 T104374 (this tunnel I want to keep please!) Assigned name: Lang /64 Subnet Status : User disabled Thnx in advance, Robert Lang

Give Back a subnet

This is definitely not an operational issue (nothing is broken) of any kind and as such really does not belong here. The default routed subnet cannot be 'given back', they are pre-allocated and associated to the tunnel (just a bit flip in the prefix).
