Tunnel T15457 shows up to 105% packet loss
[at] Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 16 May 2008 00:21:07
I have read and followed the "Reporting Problems" section on the Contact page and am providing the following details for this report based on the list of items stated there: On Tunnel T15457 i can see stats of up to 105% packet loss. From my logs, the server was reachable (by IP4) all the time. Anyway, how could a tunnel have more than a 100% loss?

Please actually read the "Reporting Problems" section on the Contact page. The 'script' or whatever you use for configuring the tunnel is quite irrelevant as it does not reflect on the actual configuration that is really applied. Next to that: tcpdump.

Tests are performed over IPv6, we really don't care about IPv4 for this. As for the 105%, no idea, must be an fping glitch.

Thank you for the informations! I'm going to set up a combinated IPv4/IPv6 pinger-logger plus tcpdump to find out more about the problem. For now, you can mark this problem closed. Thanks very much for your help!
