Local Peering

Hi, I know this aint much of a fault, however I was wondering if there are any plans for the local POP to peer with the Auckland Peering Exchange and the Wellington Exchange to exchange local ipv6 routes. Its been some time now since the .nz domain became ipv6 enabled, however this traffic and every other host I check in NZ goes out to sprint before coming back into NZ thus causing packetloss and latency. Would just be good to see more traffic staying local. Cheers B

I'll pass it on to the folks of ACSData. If you have any specific targets that you are trying to reach, then please paste them into this ticket so they can address these.

Something I could have added here before: ACSData peers at WIX (both bilateral peers and with the public route servers ) and have bilateral peers at APE, there is no public route server at APE currently. As such, any ISP which is locally present should be taking local routes too. If you have examples of ones which are not, don't hesitate to paste them here. One can btw view the routing tables in GRH.
