Routing-problem
![]()
There seems to be a routing problem on fihel01:
I can ping my PoP IPV6:
--- 2001:14b8:100:1d3::1 ping statistics ---
2 packets transmitted, 2 received, 0% packet loss, time 999ms
However, when I traceroute against noc.sixxs.net:
port:~# traceroute6 noc.sixxs.net
traceroute to noc.sixxs.net (2001:838:1:1:210:dcff:fe20:7c7c) from 2001:14b8:100:1d3::2, 30 hops max, 16 byte packets
1 gw-468.hel-01.fi.sixxs.net (2001:14b8:100:1d3::1) 41.404 ms 37.217 ms 32.364 ms

12 * gw-468.hel-01.fi.sixxs.net (2001:14b8:100:1d3::1) 1169.13 ms !H
In addition, when I try to traceroute the other way around (using the traceroute-tools provided here on SixXS) it never reaches fihel01. I tried to traceroute from several PoPs, everyone failed.

Vidar Hoel

Routing-problem
One of the upstream routers failed but VRRP didn't take over IPv6 correctly. Manual flipover resolved the issue. Investigations will be performed on how to resolve this further.

I have same problem. 2007-06-12 late evening PoP was down. Perhaps routing problems have been since then.
My traceroute is about the same, only first hop will answer and !H is telling "host unreachable". No matter what external IPv6 destination I try to traceroute.
