user@host:~$ telnet tic.sixxs.net 3874 Trying 213.204.193.2... Connected to tic.sixxs.net. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. user@host:~$ telnet tic.sixxs.net 3874 Trying 94.75.219.73... Connected to tic.sixxs.net. Escape character is '^]'. Connection closed by foreign host. I tried that from three different machine. In consequence, "aiccu start" and "aiccu test" fail with message: aiccu: Couldn't retrieve first tunnel for the above reason, aborting There is no "above reason"; that is the only message it gives, even in verbose mode. Other (IMHO irrelevant to the problem here) info requested on "contact page": AICCU 2007.01.15-console-linux by Jeroen Massar from Debian package Config extract: username LEM9-RIPE/T1461 protocol tic server tic.sixxs.net tunnel_id T1461 ipv6_interface sixxs automatic true requiretls false ## for tests verbose true daemonize false ## usually verbose false daemonize true No firewall running. ayiya tunnel Debian GNU/Linux lenny/sarge mix (not fully upgraded yet). wireshark shows successfull TCP connection (syn, syn/ack, ack) and then immediately hangup from tic.sixxs.net (FIN/ACK). POP is up, here is the requested traceroute: $ traceroute -n nlams04.sixxs.net traceroute to nlams04.sixxs.net (213.204.193.2), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets 1 172.25.0.1 107.637 ms 111.655 ms 111.680 ms 2 94.142.240.126 111.697 ms 111.773 ms 111.866 ms 3 94.142.247.229 111.684 ms 111.747 ms 111.762 ms 4 80.84.254.57 115.897 ms 115.927 ms 115.942 ms 5 195.69.144.130 115.950 ms 115.972 ms 115.986 ms 6 213.204.226.130 116.002 ms 100.283 ms 119.996 ms 7 213.204.193.2 119.814 ms 119.800 ms 119.798 ms Internet connecection: Israeli "TV" cable, with somewhat funky PPP tunnel to ISP (the last mile is resold to several ISPs... see http://stuff.pulkes.org/l2tp/ for details), and an OpenVPN tunnel on top of that. $ /sbin/route -n Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 94.142.240.22 212.199.17.171 255.255.255.255 UGH 0 0 0 ppp0 172.25.0.1 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 tun_agate 212.199.17.171 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 ppp0 212.199.173.16 172.20.56.1 255.255.255.255 UGH 0 0 0 eth0 94.142.241.136 172.25.0.1 255.255.255.248 UG 0 0 0 tun_agate 172.20.56.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.248.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 0.0.0.0 172.25.0.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 tun_agate $ /sbin/ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:1f:16:1d:fd:54 inet addr:172.20.56.144 Bcast:255.255.255.255 Mask:255.255.248.0 inet6 addr: fe80::21f:16ff:fe1d:fd54/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:18335 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:12852 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 RX bytes:10414587 (9.9 MiB) TX bytes:2921075 (2.7 MiB) Memory:f2700000-f2720000 lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:536 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:536 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:43636 (42.6 KiB) TX bytes:43636 (42.6 KiB) ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol inet addr:77.124.68.95 P-t-P:212.199.17.171 Mask:255.255.255.255 UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:10672 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:11884 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:3 RX bytes:8866093 (8.4 MiB) TX bytes:2232309 (2.1 MiB) tun_agate Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 inet addr:94.142.241.141 P-t-P:172.25.0.1 Mask:255.255.255.255 UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:10249 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:11661 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 RX bytes:8127415 (7.7 MiB) TX bytes:1422143 (1.3 MiB) wlan0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:21:6a:41:0d:ec UP BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)
