usewr01 Routing Problem
[us] Carmen Sandiego on Friday, 20 October 2006 06:35:42
It appears the usewr01 doesn't seem to be working. I can't seem to reach any hosts outside of the PoP. I seem to get this when I try to connect to another host: Network is unreachable . Also, i can't seem to access the OCCAID website, connection times out. It does not however say the PoP is down in the status pages. Can someone confirm this?

The OCCAID website is down for some time already, they are having some kind of issues with the webservers hardware and configuration which need to be resolved. usewr01 indeed seems to be disconnected, the upstream router doesn't know where to route it's packets to. We've contacted OCCAID to resolve that issue.

the OCCAID website seems to be accesable through ipv4.occaid.org, to bad the current network status there doesn't show any problems. also it looks like it is a different webserver as www.occaid.org, at least the ipv4 addresses differ. routing to the website (through both ipv4 and ipv6) seems to be broken (could be the webserver it self though)

Any way to get moved to one of the other pops? Or do I just have to grin and bear it? (since i dont have enough points for a 2nd tunnel)

I am having the same problem, I have just opened an account and I can't reach any IPv6 server except my PoP and I don't have enough points to ask for another tunnel.

If you are going to request another tunnel to then go back to the one you have, it is best you wait it out.

Routing issue has been resolved and everything should be running tip top again. Thanks for the wait, and thanks to OCCAID for resolving it!
