No IPv6 connectivity with invalid IPv4 reverse host?
[nl] Shadow Hawkins on Sunday, 05 December 2010 14:50:28
I tried to run my AYIYA tunnel from my MacBook after a long period of inactivity, and found that, while it would run without errors (I checked with verbose mode on), I had no IPv6 connectivity. After switching to the WIFI network from my phone (a hotspot), everything worked fine. When on my home network, 'aiccu test' fails at stage 6 (pinging the tunnel endpoint). I found out that my home IP address has an invalid reverse host (it does not resolve back to my IP address) and thought that this might cause my problems. Does the POP rely on a valid reverse host of the connection IPv4 address? I did not include all information from the contact page, because 'changing' only my IPv4 connection resolves the problem. If you think the information is relevant, I will include it anyway.

AYIYA really can't care less about the reverse of an IP address.
