Routing loops within HWNG
[us] Shadow Hawkins on Monday, 06 January 2014 17:40:32
I'm seeing some routing loops when trying to reach hosts on my new tunnel when that traffic passes through certain Highwinds networks. While trying to get into my network from a host on a HE tunnel, it loops forever between 2-1.ipv6.r2.dc.hwng.net and 3-1.ipv6.r1.at.hwng.net.

When trying the other way -- from my network to that host on the HE tunnel -- it looks like maybe HWNG is trying to send me through Almond Oil Process, LLC (2001:478:124::176), where the traffic is blackholed. Seems kind of weird.

Do you have contacts within HWNG that could sort such things out?

I should include the network ranges I'm using. Tunnel endpoint: 2607:f878:ff00:8f::2 Subnet: 2607:f878:ff00:808f::/64 The address I use for testing in various looking glasses: 2607:f878:ff00:808f::1

Forwarded to burstnet, likely a peering issue.
