Unable to request new subnet
[au] Shadow Hawkins on Sunday, 24 November 2013 05:47:49
Hello Good Sirs! When I attempt to request a subnet via the request subnet I see the error below:
Access Denied: You can't request a subnet at this moment.
I have 15 isk currently which should be enough to make the request. Previously I'd had a request rejected due to high latency, however there are no PoPs closer to me (Western Australia) and I wished to make an appeal for understanding on this with my next request. My current tunnel is: T133586 Thanks!

When I attempt to request a subnet via the request subnet I see the error below:
Access Denied: You can't request a subnet at this moment.
You are trying to go there directly, the entry should be disabled in your User Home though.
I have 15 isk currently which should be enough to make the request.
FAQ: What about credits and ISK? : "When the credit count is 15 ISK or lower, you will not be able to request new tunnels, subnets or NS entries."

Thank you for your help with that. I now have 20 ISK and I still can't seem to request a subnet. It is disabled on the user home page still. Attempting to access directly of course does not work. If you could help I would appreciate it.

Because you need 25 ISK to request a subnet. But it seems also that you had requested a subnet before but that it was rejected because the latency is too high (166ms at the moment).

Thank you for the reply. It might be worth updating the FAQ to mention the 25 ISK limit. As currently it states
"When the credit count is 15 ISK or lower, you will not be able to request new tunnels, subnets or NS entries. This is the so called lower credit threshold/boundary."
I know the latency of my connection is somewhat high, however there are no POPs closer to me provided by any IPv6 tunnel broker, so I was hoping to appeal based on this and ask if my latency could be overlooked. The creation of my tunnel was based on a similar appeal in the first place, so I thought it at least worth trying. Thank you for your time :)

Hmmm no, it is not 25, that is the default credit limit (shows that I rarely look at these credits ;) ) The link is primarily disabled because of the fact that one can only have one subnet per tunnel, and as you requested one and it was rejected, that limit is reached. A total subnet request is 14 ISK, this because of a combination of 10 for the request and 4 for the approval. 14 is odd, but makes sense so that one has 1 credit to ask for the first reverse delegation.

Hi, I thought I'd follow this up and ask if on compassionate ground it would be possible to have this subnet (R233186) activated or removed completely so that I can put in another subnet request for the tunnel (T133586). Whilst I am over the latency requirements there is no closer PoP to me and no other service offers a closer PoP. Thankyou for your consideration.
