Google over IPv6
[dk] Shadow Hawkins on Thursday, 02 April 2009 00:44:12
I would very much like to participate in the "Google over IPv6"-test but I hate to have to forward *all* DNS-queries through one recursive dns cache. I was wondering, could you instead provide a list of the zones I need to point to the recursive DNS caches? (google.com, etc..) This way I could include this list in my own bind-installations across our network and that way participate in the test. Thanks in advance, Kristian

The caches exist spread over multiple hosts, as such you can specify multiple caches there.

We don't have such a list. Doing that would also cause a DNS hierarchy split, kind of like preferential routing inside DNS, that is a bad idea.

So I have to forward all DNS requests through this cache for this to work as expected?
