I need to use something other than Aiccu

I have tried to get AIICU to work properly in Ubuntu unsuccesfully. I'm installing Vyatta and it has the ability to tunnul without aiccu but I need to know to what should I change my tunnel since there are 2 different 6in4 tunnel options. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What is the problem? Can you provide the output of 'aiccu start' after setting 'verbose true' and 'daemonize false' in the configuration file (/etc/aiccu.conf)?

And which options are those? It seems they have added AICCU to Vyatta too, thus most likely there is the possibility that one can use AYIYA, 6in4-static and 6in4-heartbeat tunnels on that too.
The primary question there though is, what tunnel type you will need and you will need to explain about your network setup for that question to be answered properly.
