Hello everyone . I' m a new member here , i'm using windows 7 x64 and the concole version of aiccu . I've been trying to make it work with no success . This is my aiccu.conf # AICCU Configuration # Login information username username-SIXXS password mypass # Interface names to use # ipv6_interface is the name of the interface that will be used as a tunnel interface. # On *BSD the ipv6_interface should be set to gifX (eg gif0) for proto-41 tunnels # or tunX (eg tun0) for AYIYA tunnels. ipv6_interface sixxs # The tunnel_id to use # (only required when there are multiple tunnels in the list) tunnel_id T....my tunnel # Be verbose? verbose false # Daemonize? daemonize true # Automatic Login and Tunnel activation? automatic true # Require TLS? # When set to true, if TLS is not supported on the server # the TIC transaction will fail. # When set to false, it will try a starttls, when that is # not supported it will continue. # In any case if AICCU is build with TLS support it will # try to do a 'starttls' to the TIC server to see if that # is supported. requiretls false And this is the output when running the concole Successfully retrieved tunnel information for T104690 Error opening registry key: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E32 5-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\Properties (t2) Renaming adapter 'aiccu' to 'sixxs' and using it The file exists. Renaming adapter 'aiccu' to 'sixxs' and using it
The file exists.
You seem to have an interface named 'aiccu' and one named 'sixxs' and maybe both are half configured. You should only have one tun/tap interface, and as you have set the interface name to 'sixxs' in the config, that is the one that should remain.

How i do that ? The interface aiccu is the one with the TAP-Win32 adapter v9 and the sixxs is my default wireless connection which i'm connecting . How do i fix it ? Thanks for your help

the sixxs is my default wireless connection which i'm connecting
Your wireless interface should not be named sixxs, call it 'wireless' or something. You can rename it from the Network control panel or by using the following:
netsh int set interface name="sixxs" newname="Wireless"
And then you might want to issue a:
netsh int ipv6 reset
just in case to make all kind of odd settings go away.

Thanks for the reply . I did that , but i keep getting that error . I tried to comment the line with the ipv6 interface so that it would use the default one which is name aiccu Here is the output :

At least it selects the correct interface now and one can also see that it find the TUN/TAP driver, which is good. But likely you still have other configuration statements on other interfaces left which interfere. Did you try a:
tracert www.ipv6.sixxs.net
after this, as it might be that things just work even though errors are emitted. Of course it is wise to at least peak at the output of:
ipconfig /all netstat -rn
to see how things are set up now.

it finally worked thanks a lot , but now i have a new issue . I have tried to add it as a service with windows 7 x64 , i did exactly as the wiki said , from here https://www.sixxs.net/wiki/Configuring_Windows_Vista but it won't start when i boot for some reason . I have the same names as the files at the wiki .
