Problem with tunnel setup
[de] Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 17 September 2004 09:45:57
Hi, I yesterday created a (dynamic) tunnel and started to setup my suse 9 machine. So far no problem - it works until i'll ping my peer. When I try to ping the deham01-endpoint, I can see my packets going out over PPPoE , but no incoming replies. I set up an tunnel endpoint (same settings like at deham01) on an machine with static ip and no activated iptables. When I change my tunnel to this direction, i get a reply on my ping. What could be wrong? My routing table: 2001:6f8:900:36c::/64 via :: dev sixxs metric 256 mtu 1280 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 64 fe80::/64 dev eth0 metric 256 mtu 1500 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 64 fe80::/64 dev eth1 metric 256 mtu 1500 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 64 fe80::/64 via :: dev sixxs metric 256 mtu 1280 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 64 ff00::/8 dev eth0 metric 256 mtu 1500 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 1 ff00::/8 dev eth1 metric 256 mtu 1500 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 1 ff00::/8 dev sixxs metric 256 mtu 1280 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 1 default via 2001:6f8:900:36c::1 dev sixxs metric 1024 mtu 1280 advmss 1220 fragtimeout 64 My tunnel setting (with current dynamic IP): 12: sixxs@NONE: <POINTOPOINT,NOARP,UP> mtu 1280 qdisc noqueue link/sit 217.226.52.248 peer 212.224.0.188 There's no iptables for IPv6 activated and protocol 41 is allowed. I hope, someone can help me Mario
