Tunnel working, but POP endpoint not pinging
[nl] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 07 July 2004 20:07:36
It seems like my heartbeat tunnel is working properly (even visiting this site with IPv6) But I cannot ping my POP's endpoint. (and probably vice-versa) I checked with tcpdump: If I ping for example newszilla6.xs4all.nl , tcpdump wil show ping and answer on the sixxs tunnel device When I ping the POP endpoint, nothing goes thru the tunnel and tcpdump spits out this: 17:48:46.087019 2001:7b8:2ff:dc::2 > ff02::1:ff00:1: [icmp6 sum ok] icmp6: neighbor sol: who has 2001:7b8:2ff:dc::1(src lladdr: 00:02:44:36:ea:59) (len 32, hlim 255) Anyone? :)

From the Contact page's "reporting problems" list: 8<---------- - Include full interface, routing and firewall tables when having problems. ---------->8 You probably don't have a route to the POP's IPv6 address, or you have one and it is wrong.
