RRAS blocks forwarding packets from tunnel to subnet
[ru] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 03 September 2014 08:56:14
Hi all, Ive got the following problem. I've configured sixxs tunnel on my server 2012 r2 via netsh. Also I've configured routing from my subnet's client PCs to this tunnel. All works well unless RRAS service is started. As soon as I start it, packets stop forwarding from my tunnel interface to local interface. It seems like 'someone' typed command 'netsh interface ipv6 sixxs forwarding=disabled', though command 'show interface sixxs' shows that forwarding is enabled on that interface. When I stop that service forwarding starts to work once again without any other commands or configuration changes. I need RRAS to provide NAT for my local clients and to provide VPN to my clients that are on ipv4 networks outside. I've googled this problem, and found that I'm not alone facing it, though I've found no solution and no glue where to dig and what to look for, Any suggestions? Regards, Lev
