Ports for AYIYA Protocol
[br] Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 20 May 2014 19:23:44
Hi Jeroen, I am firewalled and want to use AYIYA. If I allow only port UDP 5072 on the firewall, AYIYA sill needs to contact TIC at port TCP 3874 or it uses only port UDP 5072 to setup, configuration, heartbeat and traffic? Thanks

TIC and AYIYA are separate protocols, hence both need their own respective ports to be opened. AYIYA includes it's own heartbeat, thus no need for the heartbeat port to be open.

Exactly what I suspected. So, Can I configure the tunnel setup manually, to avoid openning the other (TIC) port?

There is no manual configuration of heartbeat or AYIYA tunnels as the password is transferred through TIC and might change per session.
