Problems with nlams02
[be] Carmen Sandiego on Saturday, 06 March 2004 16:24:20
My tunnel is up and running, my friend(s) with different ipv6 providers can all ping and traceroute me. But still i get the email 'Tunnel Downtime for IH1-6BONE's 3ffe:8114:1000::505' End this night my tunnel was disable because it was 1 week down, but it wasn't, I'm connected with it to a friends ipv6 irc server. I'm losing credits and there is nothing wrong, or is there? Maybe you can help Jeroen? Or can others ping me? The problem started after the downtime of the intouch router a week ago.

Check your routing, even though the intouch router crashed that had nothing to do with the POP that stayed up. Pinging to 3ffe:8114:1000::505 from 3ffe:8114:1000::504 doesn't generate any response coming back in over the tunnel thus your endpoint isn't alive even though it generates a nice wave of traffic. Do some tcpdumping and make sure to check your routes.

Or perhaps allow inbound ping in the firewall?
