Possible to get routing for PI adress space at sixxs.net?
[de] Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 24 July 2012 13:19:49
Hello, I haven't found any info about PI (provider independent) address space regarding sixxs.net routing. Is it generally possible to request such a routing and does sixxs.net set up PIv6 routes? Thanks, -Harry

SixXS does not do anything with routing except for GRH. ISPs provide the PoP and arrange all the routing details. SIxXS does only handle the "last-mile" portion, that is the tunnel from the PoP to the end-user. There is thus no 'user provided address space' involved. Also see FAQ: Do you provide BGP peering?. If you want to announce a prefix that you received from a RIR you can ask many of the established ISPs for transit, see FAQ: Where can I get native IPv6 transit?
