DNS zone files exchange
[be] Shadow Hawkins on Thursday, 03 March 2011 02:07:23
firstoff: I'm new to these boards. I'm looking for a partner who could host slave zones from a IPv4 and IPv6 address in return for the same service. We'd host your domain as slave. We'd be talking FUP, below 100 queries/day. Below are my connection details and offering, if others interested in swapping services, I suggest they post theirs offers/wishlists. Details: DNS Slave for n-zones with a total of 100 max queries/day, bind9 on debian squeeze IPv4 STATIC connected to mobistar business line (SDSL 2/2) - belgium (no failover) IPv6 SIXXS STATIC connected to bebru01.sixxs.net There's no point in exchanging services if we're connected by either IPv4 or IPv6 through the same service provider (or SIXXS POP).

You could use gratisdns.dk as secondary; you'll get 5 dns's spread over the world. The servers are ipv6-enabled, but there seems to be a problem having gratisdns as reverse ipv6 secondary. As the name implies, gratisdns.dk is free (as in free beer) Leif

hi, are you still searching for an exchange-possibility? in case: drop me an email - my ipv6 connection at my server system is routed via the ipv6-net of the well known provider hetzner.de - ns1.catbull.com :) cheers adi

I contacted you trough e-mail, thank you. I'm also investigating gratisdns.dk. I could have another purpose for this service, thanks. For anyone reading this thread. My current needs have been covered, I'm still offering DNS services to others.
