How about a preview before you submit a message? Besides the text box right now there is box listing some codes we are supposed to be able to use in the text (for URLs and such). I'm not sure if this really works (I think it didn't the last time I tried) and so having a preview to see whether your text actually looks the way you want it to, or whether you need to modify something, would be really nice.
