IPv6 nslookup Windows 2003
[be] Shadow Hawkins on Monday, 13 December 2004 18:58:11
Hello, anyone has another tool for doing IPv6 lookups (AAAA, PTR) on Windows 2003? The standard nslookup seems to be acting weird at irregular times. Eg : C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>nslookup -type=aaaa ipv6.linux.dk Server: roes.lyssa.telenet-ops.be Address: 195.130.130.5 telenet.be primary name server = ns.telenet-ops.be responsible mail addr = systemgroup.telenet-ops.be serial = 1102953607 refresh = 10800 (3 hours) retry = 3600 (1 hour) expire = 604800 (7 days) default TTL = 3600 (1 hour) Don't think this is the correct output :). Maybe any other tools exist for Windows 2003 to do lookups? Kind greetings.

You can always download the bind tools for Windows then you can simply use 'dig'. Nevertheless, I guess that having either a SFU or Cygwin environment available can be useful too in most cases.
