Hello, is it possible to boot a computer via IPv6-network? If yes: how? Thanks, Torben

If your BIOS supports it (PXE over IPv6) then it would work. But I am not aware of any BIOS that does... and apparently according to google(pxe ipv6): At this time, there is no remote boot specification equivalent to PXE ratified as part of the IPv6 protocol suite. Our PXE software is not out of compliance with IPv6 because there is currently no ratified IPv6 PXE standard with which we can comply. There is none to come. You can of course bootstrap over IPv4 and then do the rest over IPv6 when you have a Linux up and running.
